Tzatziki

IMG_3992.JPG

Homemade Tzatziki is in no way comparable to the ones you find at the supermarket and it’s incredibly easy to make.

I can guarantee that once you try it you will never go back, and you’ll ditch the sad pre-packaged ones with tiny cucumber pieces and greyish dill (ewww).

Why should I make it if I can buy it?

The time and effort required to make it is so minimal and what you get back is simply incredible. You will have to trust me on this one.

Tips & cheats (what can go wrong and how to fix it)

  • The more you leave the tzatziki in the fridge the stronger the garlic will get. A way of avoiding this is via adding the garlic into the mix without crushing it. As soon as you feel that your tzatziki is getting to strong just through the garlic away and keep your tzatziki.

  • If you don’t crush the garlic use a toothpick. In this way it will be easier to dig it out when you want to get rid of it

  • If you don’t like garlic, you can just exclude...it will still be tasty and fresh
